Monday Lunch Club is a great opportunity for senior citizens to meet socially and enjoy home-cooked food together.
Starting at 11.30am, it is held on a Monday in the Lichfield Room at Wade Street Church. Guests sit around tables in parties of up to six people. It starts with tea or coffee, followed by a main course and dessert. Then another tea or coffee. Special dietary needs are taken care of.
It is a time for people in the community and church members – both those living alone and couples including those in residential homes – to come together for companionship and to meet others.
There is a charge of £5.00 with a small supplement for special events such as the Christmas meal.
For those who require assistance in getting to Wade Street Church, we have arranged a transport service through Lichfield Voluntary Transport at an affordable cost.
Over the years several people have come to the Monday Lunch Club and gone on to join in other church events, including Sunday worship. That’s why we welcome church members and all others to share in the meal and conversations, to make and build friendships.
If you would like to book a meal, please contact the Church Office. You will enjoy yourself!
